Dotting the "t's" and crossing the spanish "i's" isn't nearly as important as the freaky New Years twist for Brad & Lily. You're missing the Bosque for the Ã¡rboles.

Darn. I took an adult-ed Spanish course years ago before a trip to Spain (most of which I've forgotten), and I should have remembered that tu/usted business. Oh well, too hard to change now. It should definitely be the informal form.

Welp, I'm just happen to be Mexican, and I guess the biggest hurdle is that Brad & Lilly seem to be overtly formal & polite with each other when speaking Spanish!

You see, in Spanish the pronoun 'you' can either be 'tú' or 'usted'. 'Tú' is informal, and 'Usted' is formal —you wouldn't call the president 'tú', unless you were Michelle!— and in the short Brad & Lilly are saying 'usted' over and over.

Maybe it makes sense; after all, being in such an uncomfortable position of wearing nothing but your underwear, with a massive hangover and not remembering your past actions, might make you treat the other person in a cold and formal way, just to be on the safe side :)

I don't speak Spanish, but I live in New York City where many people speak it fluently, and I think this is a good translation. Just my opinion.
