The irony is that, to me, the term Beefeater could very well be used as an insult implying... um... shall we say, sexual divergence? ;-)

Irony aside, with this news and the offer the Pope made to the Anglicans to return to the Roman flock if they don't feel cool with having gay or women priests, it's all giving the Brits a nasty misogynist vibe —They are starting to look worse than Mexicans*!! :-P
